The IOSCO Asia Pacific Hub will be hosting its first program in 2025 on emerging regulatory risks anticipated for capital markets in the Asia Pacific region. It will begin with an analysis of the expected global macroeconomic conditions and challenges that could impact the regulatory landscape. Emerging risks that would be covered more extensively include areas in sustainable finance, the transformative role of digitalisation and AI, and the potential dynamic changes within traditional markets. Participants will gain insights on regulatory issues that will could shape regional markets, helping to inform policy direction moving forward.
